Belfast Limited Edition Print

This is a limited edition print from a series of oil paintings from around his homeland of Northern Ireland.
Born in Belfast in 1977, Stephen grew up learning all about the shipyard from his father who worked there as a ‘plater’ for over 45 years. This iconic image of the Belfast cranes, Samson and Goliath has been depicted in oil and produced on 100% pure silk to make his Belfast pocket square.
Samson and Goliath are the twin shipbuilding gantry cranes situated at Queen’s island at Harland and Wolff, Belfast, Northern Ireland. The cranes, which were named after the Biblical figures, dominate the Belfast skyline and are landmark structures of the city.

Hedges Limited Edition Print

This is a limited edition print from a series of oil paintings from around his homeland of Northern Ireland.
The area around the Hedges has recently seen an explosion of tourist activity due to its association with the famous American TV series, which has been shot here in recent years.
This beautiful avenue of beech trees was planted by the Stuart family in the eighteenth century.
It was intended as a compelling landscape feature to impress visitors as they approached the entrance to their Georgian mansion, Gracehill House. Two centuries later, the trees remain a magnificent sight and have become one of the most photographed natural phenomena in Northern Ireland.
Stephen felt compelled to paint this scene as it has been a major boost to tourist activity here in Northern Ireland.

Original Portballintrae Oil On Canvas

This is the original oil on canvas painted as part of the limited edition print and silk range.
As a young boy Stephen remembers visiting Portballintrae on family holidays and noticed the sense of beauty and wonderment from the coastline looking out over the bay. The oil painting which was produced on canvas to produce the pocket square was one of a number of North Coast scenes commissioned by a number of residents in the Portballintrae area.
Portballintrae (from Irish: Port Bhaile an Tra, meaning “port of the beach settlement”) is a small seaside village in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. It is four miles east of Portrush and two miles west of the Giant’s Causeway.
